A note from Jane, founder of Zenstorage

Organized chaos, two words that defined my work, life and space for many, many years. I truly believed that underneath all the clutter and noise, I had a secret system that only I knew.

But this chaos took its toll, and everything came to a head in 2020 when I got sick — not something life-threatening, just the kind of weariness and exhaustion that never goes away no matter how much you rest. I had to make a change. I stepped back from the career I had spent years building and focused on myself.

It was all very coincidental, really. Taking time off from my hectic schedule allowed me to spend real time with my space. Seeing all the random things I had picked up over the years cluttered around my home actually made me feel empty. It started small — deciding what really meant something and what was junk, giving each thing that truly mattered a place of its own. It was weird at first, but this small action brought me a relief I hadn't been able to find anywhere else. From there I graduated to tidying up entire spaces, but I couldn't seem to find the right products for what I wanted to do. So one day in 2023, I decided to make them myself. That's how Zenstorage was born.
